Finance career advice
I am a CFA Level I candidate in my final year of economics undergraduate studies, and I hold an FMVA certification. My skills include R, BI, and Tableau. I plan to take the CFA Level I exam in May, and my FMVA course provider offers placement support. Should I enter the job market now, or wait until I complete Level II also? What are reasonable salary expectations for entry-level roles such as Financial Analyst, Equity Research Analyst, and Junior Investment Banking Analyst? Which companies are likely to recruit fresh graduates?

Leverage your FMVA placement support, strong skillset, and CFA L1 progress to secure an entry-level finance role now, aiming for 6-8 LPA in major cities, targeting investment banks, asset management firms, and financial institutions for fresh graduate positions.

Based on your qualifications and plans, it would be beneficial to wait until you complete Level II before entering the job market. This will enhance your chances of securing better opportunities and higher salary expectations. As for companies, you can explore financial institutions, consulting firms, and investment banks. Notice period negotiation
I resigned from my current company a couple of days ago. I have a 90 day notice period. I tried to talk with the HR of my current company. HR is ready to give the "buy out" option and I am also ok with it. But for the "buy out" to happen, HR needs something officially written from my manager that I do...

Should I Take the Risk?
I have a crush on a coworker who's higher up and earns more😅We work in different departments, and while she is two years younger than me, she belongs to a higher pay grade of employees who earn almost twice as much as I do, although we do almost similar work. Do you have any tips on how to approach her without making things awkward?
