a billing executive
Career shift
Hi, I have done my UG in Bsc advanced zoology and biotechnology passed out in 2023. I wanted to become a doctor but financial crisis pushed me other way. At first for one year I was a front office executive in a hospital and now I am a billing executive in one of the reputable hospitals in Chennai. Just like that two years passed. Now I am feeling guilty for not fulfilling my dreams. I want to become a doctor or research associate. But in all websites I found only medical coding jobs and even idk it is the standard job. And in other hand "doctor" I definitely have to crack the exam at fullest through merit, but I am afraid that it's too late for me to crack the exam and become a doctor. Already am 22, so after five years of MBBS, am I that much old to treat patients? Sometimes I want to learn medical coding But some says medical coding jobs are not permanent and low salary. Sometimes I just want to quit everything and want to escape somewhere, Someone pls guide me.

22 is still young! if becoming a doctor is truly your dream why not give NEET a serious shot?

It’s never too late for MBBS if you have the dedication but do you see yourself committing to 5+ years of rigorous study?

Medical coding vs Mbbs decision is like choosing between gym membership and Netflix subscription😂
