Appropriate Salary Offer

Hello All, Today I received an Offer from "Suzuki Motors India Private Limited" in the Spares Parts Department at a designation of Assistant Manager in Gurgaon Location. Salary Offered to me :- 11.79 LPA which is 98k CTC/month and 86k In Hand/month. Can anyone suggest if this is a decent offer to accept for Gurgaon location or need to ask for more %hike. My current CTC is 80k CTC/month which is 9.6 LPA.

An 11.79 LPA offer is a solid 23% hike, decent for Gurgaon, but if you have strong leverage (skills or competing offers), you can negotiate for 10-15% more.

Yaar, If you feel that your skills and experience justify a higher salary, consider negotiating for a higher offer. You could aim for a modest increase (perhaps 10-15%) and present your case based on market research and your unique qualifications!

The offered salary seems decent, especially with a 22% hike, and 86K in hand/month should be enough to live comfortably in Gurgaon. Additionally, Suzuki Motors is a reputed company, and the role could provide good growth opportunities.

I remember getting offer in Suzuki in logistics function for Assistant manager or deputy manager role in 2017..the salary offered at 5.5years exp was 12.5lpa..i guess with inflation adjustment it should have been atleast 16+ by now..
