Popular iPhone Camera App 'Halide' Gaining Three New Features in 2025

- Lux, the maker of the iPhone camera app Halide, has unveiled its roadmap for the app's upcoming version, Halide Mark III.
- Halide Mark III will introduce two new features: Color Grades, which will give images a film-like appearance, and a new take on High Dynamic Range (HDR) photos.
- The app will receive a redesign to incorporate these new features into the user interface.
- Lux has been actively developing its own algorithms for various aspects of Halide, including super-resolution for macro shots and a no-process mode for minimal post-processing.
