Through agreements with more than 300 telecom carriers, ISPs, and other network service providers, its iPass Mobile Office service creates a virtual network in more than 160 countries. The network includes dial-up, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi access points. Its cloud-based Open Mobile Platform lets users connect from mobile devices over a wide range of carrier-independent networks. Customers include Hallmark, OfficeMax, and American Family Mutual Insurance. iPass gets around 60% of sales from clients in the US; another 30% comes from Europe.
