NACCO Materials Handling Group (NMHG) reaches great heights with its lift trucks. NMHG designs, manufactures, and sells warehouse trucks, including counterbalanced lifts, and large capacity cargo and container handling trucks, and aftermarket parts for various lift equipment. Its Hyster, Yale, and Sumitomo-Yale lines are sold mainly through independent dealers. Wholesale sales of materials handling equipment account for about 75% of NMHG's revenue, which, all told, represents 60% or more of parent NACCO Industries' top line. Customers are warehouses, retailers, food distributors, building materials suppliers, and trucking and auto companies. NMHG operates a dozen manufacturing and assembly plants worldwide.
