Job Description
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Development Executive (Sr. BDE) to drive sales and expand our client base such as Abroad Study Consultants, VISA service providers, Travel Agencies, etc. for connecting with Locus Assignments in providing academic and assignment-related services to their portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in business development, strong communication skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships. This role involves lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in academic and assignment-related services.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire students, professionals, and corporate clients.
- Reach out to potential clients through leads shared by the organisation, cold calling, emails, networking, and online platforms.
- Sharing the USP of the products and how it will beneficial to their portfolio offering add on service with AI Based academic solutions, including assignments, research, and content development services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and institutional clients to drive repeat business.
- Negotiate pricing, service packages, and close deals effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including writers and subject matter experts, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain detailed records of leads, sales activities, and client interactions using CRM tools.
- Understanding of overseas studying requirements and tools.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management (preferably in academic, e-learning, or content-based services).
- Conveyance is a must.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle objections, close deals, and build long-term partnerships.
- Knowledge of academic writing, research services, and industry trends is an advantage.
- Connections with Study abroad consultants, VISA service providers Travel agents will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, lead management, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Open for travelling Local/Outstation.
