Role Summary: As a Sports & Entertainment Event Coordinator within our Sports & Entertainment Management Department, you will be responsible for orchestrating and managing various sports events, entertainment productions, and live performances. Leveraging your expertise in event planning, venue management, and talent coordination, you will ensure seamless execution while enhancing fan engagement, attendee experience, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution:
Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and operations for sports events, concerts, theater productions, and other entertainment activities.
Collaborate with venue managers, technical crews, and production teams to ensure smooth event setup, execution, and breakdown.
Implement safety protocols, crowd management strategies, and emergency response plans to safeguard attendees and participants.
Talent Management and Coordination:
Liaise with athletes, performers, artists, and production crews to facilitate rehearsals, appearances, and performance schedules.
Negotiate contracts, licensing agreements, and performance rights to secure talent, content, and intellectual property rights.
Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and hospitality services for talent, VIP guests, and key stakeholders.
Marketing and Promotion:
Develop and execute marketing campaigns, ticketing strategies, and promotional activities to drive event attendance and viewer engagement.
Collaborate with media partners, sponsors, and advertisers to maximize exposure, brand visibility, and revenue opportunities.
Analyze audience demographics, feedback, and engagement metrics to optimize marketing strategies and fan experiences.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
Build and maintain relationships with sports leagues, entertainment agencies, venue owners, and industry associations.
Facilitate partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborative ventures to enhance event offerings, content quality, and audience reach.
Represent the organization at industry events, award ceremonies, and trade shows to network with peers, showcase capabilities, and explore business opportunities.
Financial Management and Budgeting:
Assist in budget planning, financial forecasting, and cost management for event operations, talent bookings, and production expenses.
Monitor ticket sales, merchandise revenues, and sponsorship deals to assess financial performance and ROI.
Evaluate budget variances, revenue streams, and operational efficiencies to drive profitability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainable growth.
