Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Room Cleaning & Maintenance :
- Clean and tidy assigned rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish amenities.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, sanitized, and free of debris.
- Public Area Maintenance :
- Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and clean windows and mirrors.
- Empty trash containers and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Laundry Management :
- Collect, sort, and wash linens, towels, and other guest-related items.
- Operate laundry equipment and follow proper procedures for handling and storing clean items.
- Inventory & Restocking :
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens in guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Maintenance Team.
- Guest Interaction & Service :
- Greet guests courteously and respond to their inquiries or requests promptly.
- Address any concerns or feedback from guests related to housekeeping services.
- Safety & Compliance :
- Follow established safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
