IT Business Analyst

• To liaise with program divisions within NACO and understand their requirements for new features and functionalities in the SOCH portal.
  
• To analyse, document, and prioritize the business requirements, ensuring alignment with NACOs strategic goals and objectives.
  
• To collaborate with the IT development team and ensure the timely and accurate implementation of approved features in the SOCH portal.
  
• To provide ongoing support and guidance to program divisions regarding the utilization and optimization of the SOCH portal.
  

Responsibilities:

a. Coordination and Requirement Gathering:

• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with program divisions within NACO.
  
• Conduct regular meetings and workshops with program division representatives to understand their requirements and expectations.
  
• Document and analyse business requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with NACOs objectives.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and develop a roadmap for feature development in the SOCH portal.
  

b. Feature Development and Implementation:

• Work closely with the IT development team to translate approved requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
  
• Ensure that the development team understands the business requirements and can accurately implement the desired features.
  
• Participate in the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that the developed features meet the defined requirements and standards.
  
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) in collaboration with program divisions, capturing feedback and incorporating necessary changes.
  
  

c. Support and Guidance:

• Provide ongoing support to program divisions in understanding and utilizing the features available in the SOCH portal.
  
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to familiarize program division personnel with new functionalities.
  
• Collaborate with program divisions to identify areas for improvement in the SOCH portal and propose enhancements based on their feedback.
  
• Assist in resolving any technical issues or challenges faced by program divisions in utilizing the SOCH portal effectively.
  
  

4. Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A relevant Masters degree will be an advantage.
  

Experience:

• Minimum [2] years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
  
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  
• Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing their expectations.
  
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and knowledge of HIV/AIDS programs will be highly beneficial.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies.
  
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and project management methodologies.
  
• Familiarity with web-based applications, databases, and API integrations.
  
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
