Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Specialist with comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage industry

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business analysis and quality assurance/testing practices, ensuring our mortgage operations and systems are efficient, effective, and errorfree

**Key Responsibilities **

*Business Analysis *

Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for mortgagerelated projects

Collaborate with stakeholders, including product owners, developers, and other BAs, to define and prioritize business needs

Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to bridge identified gaps

Create detailed functional and nonfunctional specifications

Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to elicit requirements

Develop process maps, workflows, and business process models

Assist in creating user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria

*Quality Assurance*

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications

Execute various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool

Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues

Perform root cause analysis of defects and recommend process improvements

Conduct postimplementation reviews to ensure solutions meet business needs and are free of defects

Maintain and update QA documentation, including test scripts, test data, and test results
