Chartered Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other financial reports in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Audit Management: Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assess financial operations and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Taxation: Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, prepare tax returns, and advise on tax-saving strategies. Stay updated on tax regulations and policies.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and forecast future financial trends to guide the companys financial planning.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and support decision-making. Perform cost analysis and improve cost-efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, financial regulations, and corporate governance practices.
• Advisory Role: Provide strategic financial advice to senior management on matters such as investment, mergers, acquisitions, and financial risk management.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks.
• Management Reporting: Provide detailed reports to management, including performance analysis, financial health assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Team Management: Supervise junior accountants or finance staff, offering guidance and training when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant certification (CA) from a recognized institute (e.g., ICAI, ACCA, etc.)
• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master's degree or additional certifications can be a plus)
• Experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management (usually 3-5 years minimum)
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, tax laws, and auditing standards
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
