The VIP Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of VIP movement within the airport, ensuring seamless and secure passage for high-profile individuals and the Lounges at the airport. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of airport operations and security protocols. The incumbent will collaborate closely with various departments, including CISF and security teams, to deliver world-class service to VIP passengers. The incumber will also look into the daily operations of the Lounge and its service levels which will be provided by the vendor partner.
Responsibilities: -
Develop and implement comprehensive VIP movement plans, including arrival and departure procedures.
Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth VIP journeys.
Liaise with CISF and security teams to facilitate efficient security clearance and VIP access.
Manage VIP lounges and the operating partner, to ensure service standards are in line with NIA standards.
Resolve VIP complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of VIP service agents.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Set clear performance expectations and monitor team performance.
Develop and implement emergency procedures for VIP passengers.
Continuously evaluate VIP service processes and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications: -
Bachelors degree in hospitality management, aviation management, or a related field.
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Hospitality services or airport operations.
Strong understanding of airport protocols, security procedures, aviation regulations and vendor management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in computer systems and applications.
