About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drupal Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using Drupal CMS. The ideal candidate will have experience in Drupal 8, 9, or 10, strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and front-end technologies, and a deep understanding of Drupal theming, module development, and site-building.

Key Responsibilities:

Drupal Development & Customization:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based websites.
• Create custom modules and modify existing modules as per project requirements.
• Implement Drupal theming using Twig and front-end technologies.

Site Architecture & Performance Optimization:

• Design and optimize site architecture, content types, and taxonomies.
• Improve performance, caching, and security of Drupal websites.
• Troubleshoot Drupal core, contributed modules, and custom modules.

Integration & API Development:

• Integrate Drupal with third-party APIs, RESTful web services, and external databases.
• Develop and maintain headless Drupal applications using JSON:API or GraphQL.

Database & Back-End Development:

• Work with MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL to optimize database queries.
• Implement custom content workflows and user roles/permissions.

Collaboration & Agile Development:

• Work closely with designers, front-end developers, and project managers.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Maintain version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• Experience with Drupal 8, 9, or 10 development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Twig.
• Knowledge of Drupal module development and theming.
• Familiarity with Symfony framework and Composer.
• Experience with Drush, Lando, or DDEV for local development.

Database & API Knowledge:

• Strong SQL skills (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON:API, GraphQL, and SOAP.

Version Control & DevOps:

• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Docker, and automated testing tools.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Headless Drupal (Next.js, React, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of Acquia, Pantheon, or Drupal Cloud hosting.
• Familiarity with Drupal security best practices.
• Experience with Site migration and upgrades (Drupal 7 to 10).
• Drupal certifications (e.g., Acquia Certified Developer).
