Features Writer
Requirement: Full-time features writer who can join us immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and write long-form feature articles about prominent members of the Indian diaspora from around the world
• Develop story ideas, conduct interviews and craft compelling narratives.
• Work with the editorial team and designers to ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and on-brand
• Meet deadlines and work independently
• Monitor the news, identify trending content that is relevant to the Global Indian brand and produce stories at short notice.
Qualifications:
• 3-4 years of experience in media industry, preferably in feature writing
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong people skills and a global outlook
• The ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner,
• Keen attention to detail
• Self-starter and ability to work independently
• Ability to meet deadlines.
