Drupal Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Drupal Developer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining Drupal-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Drupal 8/9/10, advanced site-building skills, and the ability to deliver scalable, robust, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites and web applications.

- Build custom Drupal modules, themes, and templates as per project requirements.

- Lead and contribute to site architecture and front-end/back-end development.

- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of Drupal sites.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Migrate content and configurations from earlier Drupal versions or other CMS platforms to Drupal 8/9/10.

- Implement and customize APIs for seamless integrations with third-party systems.

- Conduct code reviews, optimize codebase, and adhere to coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and advancements in Drupal and web development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Drupal Expertise: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Drupal 8/9/10, including module development, theming, and site-building.

Backend Development: Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and object-oriented programming.

Frontend Development: Familiar with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery and responsive design.

Custom Modules & Themes: Proven experience in building custom Drupal modules and themes.

Frameworks & Tools: Familiarity with Symfony, Composer, Drush, and Git version control.

API Development: Experience with RESTful/GraphQL API integration and development.

Database Management: Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and SQL queries.

Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently.

Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor junior developers.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines etc.

- Familiarity with Headless Drupal and decoupled architecture.

- Experience with SEO optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and performance tuning.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
