Overview:

Lead the launch and management of a new Liquid Credit and Asset Backed Financing Fund Accounting team. You will oversee day-to-day fund accounting for various portfolio structures (e.g., open/closed-ended funds, CLOs, separately managed accounts) and guide the Hyderabad team, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and operational excellence across global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fund Accounting Oversight: Manage NAV calculations, GAAP compliance, and financial reporting for diverse fund structures.

- Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and manage fund accountants while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

- Process Improvement: Identify and implement workflow enhancements, robust controls, and automation opportunities.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and third-party service providers to streamline operations and support a "follow the sun" model.

- Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and proactively address operational risks.

Qualifications:

- 15+ years in asset management, investment banking, or financial services.

- 8+ years managing operations and personnel.

- Deep expertise in alternative investments, fund launches, and complex financial structures.

- Strong technical skills in fund accounting principles, NAV methodologies, and relevant systems (e.g., Advent Geneva, Microsoft Excel). Familiarity with PowerBI, Python, or SQL is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; ACA/CPA/CFA preferred.
