Strategic Business Development (70%)
- Define and drive the company's business development strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the client base and explore new market opportunities.
- Lead high-value pitches, negotiations, and proposal presentations to secure large-scale deals.
- Leverage industry trends, competitor analysis, and market insights to drive business growth.
Leadership & Team Development (20%)
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team.
- Foster a results-driven culture, setting KPIs and monitoring performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, delivery) to align business goals.
Client Relationship & Account Growth (10%)
- Strengthen existing client relationships to maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure client success through strategic engagement, feedback loops, and proactive problem-solving.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Key Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sales, business development, or enterprise sales (preferably in B2B/IT services/consulting).
- MBA from a reputed institution with a strong understanding of business strategy and sales leadership.
- Proven ability to build and maintain CXO-level relationships.
- Strong negotiation, deal-closing, and consultative sales skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth.
Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)
- Experience in IT services, SaaS, cloud, analytics, or digital transformation domains.
- Strong knowledge of pre-sales, RFPs, and proposal writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
