Network Performance Analyst

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar.
• Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet.
• Knowledge of network performance optimization techniques, including Quality of Service (QoS), traffic shaping, and bandwidth management.
• Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly desirable.

Experience:

• 1-5 years of experience in network performance analysis, troubleshooting, or network engineering.
• Experience in managing and optimizing enterprise networks in a high-availability environment.
• Prior experience with scripting or automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for network performance monitoring and optimization is a plus.
