Job Description
As a Database Architect at Web Neural Infotech, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient, scalable, and secure database architectures to support AI, ML, and Big Data-driven applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for data storage, retrieval, and management while ensuring database solutions meet business requirements and performance expectations.
This role is ideal for experienced professionals with expertise in database design, modeling, and optimization, as well as freshers with strong knowledge and a passion for learning advanced database architecture concepts.
- Database Design : Develop database models, schemas, and architectures for structured and unstructured data.
- Scalability Planning : Design scalable database solutions that can handle high traffic and large datasets.
- Performance Optimization : Analyze database performance and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, including indexing, partitioning, and clustering.
- Technology Evaluation : Evaluate and recommend database technologies (relational and NoSQL) based on project requirements.
- Data Security : Implement data encryption, access controls, and security policies to safeguard sensitive information.
- Integration : Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with APIs and microservices.
- Documentation : Create detailed documentation for database designs, configurations, and best practices.
- Data Migration : Plan and execute data migration strategies for transitioning between database systems.
- Compliance : Ensure database designs adhere to compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.
- Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and database developers.
- Database Platforms : Expertise in relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
- Data Modeling : Strong knowledge of ER diagrams, normalization, and de-normalization techniques.
- Database Tools : Proficiency in tools like SQL Developer, pgAdmin, and MongoDB Compass.
- Big Data : Familiarity with Big Data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is an advantage.
- Programming and Scripting : Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Performance Tuning : Experience with query optimization, indexing, and caching mechanisms.
- Cloud Databases : Knowledge of cloud-based database services like AWS RDS, Google Cloud Spanner, or Azure SQL.
- Security Practices : Expertise in implementing database encryption, auditing, and user access controls.
- Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Master s degree is a plus.
- Certifications (Preferred) :
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert , Oracle Certified Master (OCM) , or equivalent certifications.
- Experience :
- Freshers with strong foundational knowledge in database architecture and design are encouraged to apply.
- 3-5 years of experience in database architecture, design, or related roles is preferred.
