Senior Infrastructure Developer

As a Senior Infrastructure Developer, your responsibilities will include:

• Infrastructure Architecture: Design and implement highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Cloud Management and Optimization: Manage cloud environments (e. g. , AWS, Azure, GCP), optimizing resource allocation and performance to achieve cost efficiency and high availability.
• Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) configurations using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• System Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Set up advanced monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address performance issues, optimize resource usage, and enhance system reliability.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure that infrastructure adheres to compliance standards (e. g. , GDPR, HIPAA) and organizational security policies.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate infrastructure seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines, facilitating automated testing, deployment, and scaling of applications.
• Troubleshooting and Incident Management: Lead troubleshooting efforts for infrastructure-related issues, responding to incidents to minimize downtime and ensure rapid recovery.
• Documentation and Code Reviews: Create detailed documentation of infrastructure design, workflows, and processes, and participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices, design patterns, and infrastructure development to enhance team capabilities.

• Cloud Platforms Expertise: Advanced experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation for automated infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Scripting and Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating repetitive tasks and improving operational efficiency.
• Distributed Systems Knowledge: Solid understanding of distributed systems and experience designing infrastructure that supports scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.
• CI/CD Integration: Experience with CI/CD tools (e. g. , Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions) and a strong understanding of DevOps principles.
• Monitoring and Logging Tools: Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch for performance monitoring and incident response.
• Networking and Security: Knowledge of virtual networks, firewalls, load balancing, VPNs, and security protocols to ensure infrastructure resilience and data protection.
• Database Management: Experience with database management, including high-availability setups for SQL and NoSQL databases (e. g. , MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Educational Background: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud systems management, or related fields, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex, large-scale systems.
• Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
