Job Description: Manager - Human Resources - Wipro Enterprises

Location: Bangalore

Position Overview:

As a Manager - Human Resources at Wipro Enterprises, you will play a critical role in driving HR strategies across Wipro Enterprises business. This hybrid role blends both Talent Acquisition and Business Partnering, offering a unique opportunity to impact the workforce and contribute to strategic growth. You will collaborate with leadership teams, managers, and HR functions to ensure that Wipro attracts, develops, and retains top talent while also building strong, performance-driven business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Talent Acquisition (TA):


a) Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for key roles across WEL, ensuring the right talent is identified, attracted, and hired.

b) Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to define hiring needs, and create tailored sourcing strategies.

c) Manage the recruitment pipeline, including screening, interviewing, and finalizing offers for candidates.

d) Utilize diverse sourcing channels (internal databases, social media, recruitment agencies, job boards, etc.) to build a strong talent pool.

e) Track recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and improve the recruitment process.

f) Develop and nurture relationships with external recruitment partners to expand talent sourcing options.

B) Paperwork and Documentation:

a) Ensure all recruitment-related documentation is accurate and complies with company policies and legal requirements.

b) Prepare and process employment contracts, offer letters, and other recruitment-related paperwork.

c) Ensure timely submission and completion of pre-employment documents, including background checks, reference checks, and other onboarding formalities.

d) Maintain a well-organized database of candidate records and recruitment documentation for future reference and audits.

C) Business Partnering:

a) Act as a trusted HR advisor to senior business leaders and line managers, understanding their needs and providing guidance on all HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.

b) Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring a high-performance culture.

c) Provide leadership in talent and succession planning processes to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.

d) Support the integration of corporate policies, programs, and initiatives across the businesses, ensuring consistency in HR practices.

e) Address and resolve employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.

f) Drive employee engagement initiatives that align with Wipro's values and organizational objectives.

D) Employee Development & Retention:

a) Collaborate with L&D teams to identify talent development needs and create career development paths for high-potential employees.

b) Implement initiatives for employee engagement, recognition, and retention to foster a positive work environment.

c) Monitor employee performance and provide coaching to managers on feedback, performance improvement plans, and growth opportunities.

d) Conduct regular check-ins with key employees to ensure alignment with career goals and organizational objectives.

E) HR Strategy and Innovation:

a) Stay abreast of HR best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance employee experience.

b) Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs that support business objectives, including diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and wellness initiatives.

F) Reporting and Compliance:

a) Maintain accurate HR records and reports on key recruitment and business partnering metrics.

b) Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements related to HR processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a Premier B School

Experience:

a) Minimum 5-8 years of experience in HR, with a focus on Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partnering.

b) Prior experience working in large-scale organizations, preferably within consumer goods, lighting, infrastructure, or engineering sectors.

c) Proven track record in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including strategy development, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.

d) Strong experience in HR business partnering, with the ability to influence senior business leaders and drive organizational change.

e) Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse workforce and manage complex employee relations issues.

Skills & Competencies:

a) Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

b) High level of emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution skills.

c) Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).

d) Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present recommendations to leadership.

e) Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to execution.
