Senior AVP - Senior Analytics Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a  Senior Analytics Consultant.

In this role, you will:

• Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
• Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
• Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
• Lead or participate on large cross group projects
• Mentor less experienced staff
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

• Experience in Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Btech or MCA
• Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
• Proven organization, self- management, collaboration, leadership skills.
• Experience with Agile (Kanban/Scrum) and iterative development approach. 
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 
• Demonstrated ability to create and improve process through strategic thinking.
• Understanding of data engineering and data governance concepts and processes
• Knowledge and understanding of data lake, data warehouse or data mart concepts
• Experience writing data wrangling and ETL processes
• Experience developing reports and dashboards
• 4+ years hands on experience with SQL
• 4+ years hands on experience with SAS
• 4+ years hands on experience with Python
• 2+ years hands on experience with Power BI/Tableau
• 1+ years hands on experience with Alteryx
• 1+ years hands on experience with GitHub
• 3+ years hands on experience with JIRA
• 2+ years experience with data lake technologies like Hadoop/ MapR/ Netapp/ Dremio/ Cloudera
