We are seeking a dynamic Product Specialist for Mutual Funds within an Asset Management Company (AMC) to join our team in Bengaluru.
This role is focused on product promotion, relationship building with investors, and supporting sales teams in achieving product targets across the region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mutual funds, capital markets, and an understanding of equity and debt products.
Key Responsibilities:
Concept Selling & Investor Relationships:
- Responsible for driving concept selling across the region by leveraging relationships with investors.
- Articulate the product and market outlook effectively to investors, ensuring clear communication and positive investment decisions.
Product Level Targets & Sales Support:
- Own product-specific targets for the zone, specifically for Equity and Debt products.
- Create a positive environment that drives the agenda for product promotion and achievement of sales targets.
Training & Knowledge Sharing:
- Conduct regular training sessions and knowledge upgrades for internal employees across the zone.
- Keep the Sales Team updated on product-related information and ensure consistency in messaging across the team.
Investor Engagement & Communication:
- Conduct regular huddles, conference calls, and meetings with investors to explain products, market outlook, and product positioning.
- Ensure that all communications simplify aspects of the capital market for the stakeholders.
Distribution & Product Mix:
- Work closely with the sales team to increase distribution spread and product mix in the region.
Market Feedback & Business Development:
- Provide critical ground feedback to enhance business activities, such as insights on branches, distribution strategies, and customer service.
- Support the product team in creating simplified communications for focused products.
Competitor Insights & Product Positioning:
- Offer feedback on competitor products, including their positioning and sales performance in the market.
- Relay investor queries on funds/products to the Investments team for resolution.
Key Investor & Family Office Management:
- Accompany Sales Relationship Managers (RMs) in meetings with key investors, including HNI, UHNI, and NRI clients.
- Manage relationships with Key Family Offices and UHNIs in the assigned region.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Mutual Funds, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking.
- Proven track record in product promotion and sales support within the financial industry.
- Familiarity with both equity and debt products in the mutual fund domain.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Additional certifications like CFA, CFP, or NISM will be an advantage.
Skills:
Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts to various stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with Sales Teams, Investors, and Internal Teams.
In-depth knowledge of capital markets, investment products, and mutual fund regulations
