We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to oversee the Retail Liabilities function of our branch.
This role is crucial to driving performance and ensuring branch success, with a strong emphasis on achieving sales targets, cross-selling products, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in retail banking, sales management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Performance Monitoring:
- Continuously monitor and evaluate branch performance to ensure the achievement of sales targets.
Sales Target Achievement:
- Oversee and guide the team to consistently achieve and exceed branch sales targets, with a focus on Retail Liabilities.
Size Growth & Cross-Selling:
- Drive growth in the branch's Gross Loan Size by focusing on cross-selling and promoting 3rd party products.
Profit Maximization:
- Maximize profits for the branch by focusing on fee-based income and identifying new revenue opportunities.
Audit Rating & Compliance:
- Ensure the branch consistently meets audit and compliance standards, aiming for outstanding ratings.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining high-quality standards and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Quality Standards Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of quality standards and focus on achieving top-tier quality scores across the branch.
Cross-Selling of Liability Products:
- Promote and cross-sell a range of liability products, such as Tax Saving Bonds, Mutual Funds, IPOs, POS, FDR, CA-SA, and Life & General Insurance.
Sales of Asset Products:
- Drive sales of asset products like housing loans, car loans, and personal loans to expand the branch's offerings.
Cost Optimization:
- Work towards optimizing branch operational costs while maintaining efficiency and high levels of service.
Staff Training & Development:
- Impart functional training to staff, ensuring they are well-equipped with knowledge and skills to achieve goals.
Team Motivation & Leadership:
- Foster a motivating environment and work on the development of subordinates, helping them reach their full potential.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in retail banking, with at least 2-3 years in a branch management role.
- Strong background in sales management and cross-selling products in a banking environment.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, or related field (MBA preferred).
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on improving branch performance and customer satisfaction.
- Expertise in retail banking products and services, with a deep understanding of liability and asset products
