Job Title: Branch Manager
Location: South Bombay

Position Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the bank branch. This includes ensuring excellent customer service, meeting sales targets, managing day-to-day activities, maintaining the branch's financial health, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. The Branch Manager plays a key role in leading the team and driving business growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Branch Operations Management:
- Oversee daily branch operations, including banking services, customer interactions, and cash management.
- Ensure branch compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor branch performance, implement operational procedures, and ensure adherence to security protocols.
2. Customer Service Excellence:
- Provide exceptional service to customers by resolving complaints, addressing concerns, and offering appropriate solutions.
- Foster a positive and professional environment to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
3. Sales and Business Development:
- Drive sales targets for deposit products, loans, and other financial services.
- Promote cross-selling opportunities to meet customer needs and increase branch revenue.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the branch's local community.
4. Team Leadership and Staff Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate branch staff to achieve branch goals.
- Provide ongoing training and development to improve staff performance and product knowledge
- Conduct performance appraisals and assist in hiring and staffing decisions.
5. Financial Management and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate handling of financial transactions and monitor branch budget and expenses.
- Prepare and present performance reports for senior management, including sales and financial results.
- Implement cost-control measures and ensure efficient resource utilization.
6. Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate operational risks and maintain proper documentation.
- Monitor internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure the security of bank assets.
7. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure that the branch complies with local, state, and federal banking laws and regulations.
- Oversee compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) and anti-money laundering (AML) standards.
8. Community and Public Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and community organizations.
- Represent the bank in local events, networking opportunities, and outreach programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
- [8] years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least [3 ] years as a branch manager .
- Proven track record in sales, customer service, and branch management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
