Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager who is hands-on with .NET and API development . This role involves technical leadership, driving innovation, and ensuring high-quality software delivery while working with modern cloud architectures . The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading engineering teams, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring best practices in software development.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance applications and APIs.
Drive technical strategy, software architecture, and cloud-based solution design.
Oversee the development of backend services, API integrations, and serverless applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, roadmaps, and implementation strategies.
Guide engineering teams on best practices in software development, DevOps, and cloud architecture.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to APIs, authentication, and system performance.
Manage escalations related to customer support, GitHub issues, and feature requests.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security standards, and performance optimizations.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a people management role.
Strong expertise in back-end development using .NET (C#), Python, or similar languages.
Experience in API development and integration using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or similar authentication methods.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and serverless computing (e.g., Azure Functions).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., ARM, Terraform, Bicep templates).
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and customer interaction skills.
Proven ability to mentor teams and improve development processes, performance, and scalability.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of modern security principles in API development.
