Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing certificates and secrets, developing and deploying ARM templates, managing ADO pipelines, and ensuring compliance with security policies. This role requires a strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, service fabrics, and deployment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage certificates and secrets for service principals, clusters, and applications.
- Migrate Azure resources to use managed identities or secret rotator tols.
- Develop ARM templates, service models, and rollout templates to deploy service fabrics, applications, and Azure infrastructures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment failures.
- Manage ADO pipelines and their components, including secrets, certificates, service connections, libraries, and variable groups.
- Troubleshoot and fix errors in project pipelines such as buddy builds, pull requests, rolling builds, and release pipelines.
- Improve pipeline performance as needed.
- Ensure all pipelines comply with company security policies.
- Migrate and upgrade ADO tasks to support workload identity credentials.
- Eliminate the use of local authorities, service principal secrets, and service account PATs.
- Migrate classic build pipelines to YAML 1ESPT and classic release pipelines to YAML M365 OneBranch pipelines.
- Onboard various services used by the project, including 1CDN Upload Asset, secret rotator tooling, and ESRP.
- Research and develop ARM templates to support IPv6 in virtual networks, application gateways, load balancers, and VMSS.
- Conduct monthly audits of security groups and secrets, producing detailed reports.
- Report monthly on application deployment frequency using DORA metrics.
- Support the OCE channel and handle S360 security alerts and ICM tickets.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and managing its components.
- Proficiency in developing and deploying ARM templates.
- Experience with service fabrics and Azure infrastructure.
- Knowledge of managing certificates and secrets for various Azure resources.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve deployment failures.
- Familiarity with YAML for pipeline configurations.
- Understanding of security policies and compliance in pipeline management.
- Experience with secret rotator tools and managed identities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with IPv6 support in virtual networks, application gateways, load balancers, and VMSS.
- Familiarity with DORA metrics and their application in deployment frequency reporting.
- Experience with onboarding services like 1CDN Upload Asset and ESRP.
- Knowledge of S360 security alerts and ICM ticket handling.
