HR Executive - Learning and Development

Nature of the role:

The HR Learning and Development Executive is responsible for overseeing the creation, implementation, and management of training programs that enhance employee skills and foster organizational growth. This role focuses on identifying employee learning needs, developing effective training solutions, and evaluating program success to ensure continuous development across the workforce.

Job Description:

Training Needs Assessment:

• Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training requirements across departments.
• Collaborate with managers and department heads to understand their teams development needs.
• Utilize employee surveys, performance reviews, and feedback to prioritize training initiatives.

Program Development & Design:

• Develop training materials, workshops, and resources tailored to the needs of employees at all levels.
• Create onboarding programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company culture and job responsibilities.
• Design leadership and management training programs to support the development of future leaders within the company.

Training Delivery:

• Deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions to employees.
• Coordinate with external trainers and vendors to bring specialized expertise into the company when necessary.
• Ensure that training content is engaging, informative, and aligned with company goals.

Employee Development:

• Create and manage career development programs and succession planning processes.
• Support employees in their professional growth by offering coaching, mentoring, and guidance.
• Help employees set learning goals and provide tools/resources to meet those goals.

Evaluation & Feedback:

• Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Make recommendations for improving future training programs based on feedback and outcomes.
• Maintain records of training participation and assess ROI to measure success.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with trends in learning and development, such as e-learning, leadership development, and other innovative methods.
• Advocate for new tools and technologies that enhance the learning experience.
• Evaluate and incorporate employee feedback to continuously refine training initiatives.

Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure training programs align with legal, regulatory, and industry-specific standards.
• Prepare and present reports on training progress, effectiveness, and areas for improvement to leadership.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with HR, managers, and leadership to ensure alignment of training programs with organizational goals.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 2-5 years of experience in Learning & Development.
• MBA/PGDM or MSW-HR or MA-HRM degree .
• Strong understanding of Learning and Development principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, coordination, analysis, and presentation skills.
