About the Role.
- We propose the creation of an Assistant General Manager - New Business Development role to support Vi's strategic agenda by expanding its digital footprint through innovative business models and partnerships.
- The manager will work closely will the Vertical Lead to support strategy development, and ensure smooth execution of digital ventures.
Responsibilities.
- New Business Evaluation and Feasibility Analysis.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and consumer studies to identify potential business opportunities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, business models, and market trends to assess feasibility and alignment with company goals.
- Develop detailed business cases, including financial modeling, ROI assessments, and risk analysis to support decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and next steps.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure that evaluations align with strategic business objectives.
Operations and Analytics.
- Oversee operational execution of new business initiatives and partnerships.
- Implement and track key performance metrics to assess the success and growth potential of business ventures.
- Use data and analytics to evaluate performance, identify improvement areas, and optimize processes.
- Provide actionable insights to internal teams for continuous improvement and business scaling.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution.
- Support the development and implementation of GTM strategies for newly approved business initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the consumer journey, product positioning, marketing strategies, and operational rollout.
- Monitor and report on GTM performance, providing actionable recommendations for optimization.
Other tasks.
- Manage key stakeholders at various levels.
- Work with the cross verticals to create and operate the backend.
- Familiarity with research tools and methodologies for market analysis and consumer surveys.
Qualifications - MBA preferred.
Required Skills:
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of market dynamics, financial modeling, and strategic frameworks.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in conducting in-depth analysis, using data to draw insights and support recommendations.
- Negotiation and Communication: Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills for building partnerships and presenting ideas.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with emerging technologies, digital business models, and innovative solutions.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple evaluations, GTM processes, and cross-functional collaborations effectively.
