Assistant General Manager - Treasury - Telecom (7-12 yrs)

Job Purpose

The AGM - Treasury will play a key supporting role in managing the company's borrowing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Borrowing & Compliance:

- Assist in providing required information to lenders and fulfilling condition precedents for loan drawdowns.

- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations related to foreign currency (FCY) borrowings.

- Prepare and maintain management reports on borrowing activities.

- Develop interest budgets and perform monthly reconciliations of budgeted vs. actual interest expenses.

Vendor Financing:

- Oversee the preparation of documentation and verification of interest calculations for vendor financing.

- Liaise with key vendors and ensure smooth execution of financing agreements.

Core Competencies & Skills:

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- High level of agility and adaptability in a dynamic financial environment.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with banks, financial institutions, and senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Treasury, Borrowing, or Corporate Finance.

- In-depth knowledge of RBI regulations and corporate borrowing processes.

- Proficiency in financial analysis, interest budgeting, and reconciliation
