About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SFCC Lead Developer to join our team in Mumbai.
This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable SFCC eCommerce solutions for our clients.
You will lead technical aspects of SFCC implementations, ensuring seamless integrations, optimal performance, and a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities :
- SFCC Development & Architecture : Lead the design, development, and implementation of SFCC eCommerce solutions, including storefront customization, integrations, and back-end development.
- Technical Leadership : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers on the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- AWS Expertise : Leverage your deep understanding of AWS services, particularly Lambda functions, to build scalable and efficient solutions.
- Personalization : Implement and optimize personalization strategies within SFCC to enhance customer engagement and drive conversions.
- Catalog and Product Management : Structure catalogs, define product data models, and manage content within SFCC.
- Storefront Configuration : Configure and customize SFCC storefronts, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
- Multi-Site/Multi-Country Implementation : Set up and manage multi-site and multi-country environments within SFCC.
- API Integrations : Design and implement API integrations with external systems, such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and inventory management systems.
- Data Synchronization : Implement data synchronization mechanisms between SFCC and other systems (SF, DMS, ERP, inventory, customer data, etc.
- Performance Optimization : Optimize site speed, implement caching strategies, and configure CDNs for optimal performance.
- Monitoring and Support : Set up monitoring for system health, performance, and error tracking.
- Address post-launch issues, provide ongoing support for platform updates and patches, and implement optimizations.
- Communication and Collaboration : Maintain clear communication with project managers, developers, and other teams.
- Regularly update stakeholders on progress, risks, and challenges.
- Process Improvement : Conduct regular reviews and retrospectives to refine processes and improve the system.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in SFCC (Demandware) development.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, particularly Lambda functions.
- Proficiency in Python coding.
- Hands-on experience with personalization in SFCC.
- Expertise in structuring catalogs, product data models, and content within SFCC.
- Experience configuring SFCC storefronts.
- Proven ability to set up and manage multi-site and multi-country environments.
- Solid understanding of API integrations with external systems (e., payment gateways, ERP, CRM).
- Experience with data synchronization between SFCC and other systems.
- Knowledge of site speed optimization, caching strategies, and CDN configuration.
- Experience setting up monitoring for system health, performance, and error tracking.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve post-launch issues and provide ongoing support.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
