VML - Senior Project Manager - eCommerce Domain (4-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong technical foundation to join our dynamic eCommerce team.

In this critical role, you will lead one or more Agile teams in the successful delivery of both bespoke development projects and crucial operational enhancements, often within demanding timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Agile Project Leadership :

- Drive the effective execution of complex projects utilizing Agile methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Kanban).

- Facilitate the smooth flow of work by proactively identifying and resolving impediments and blockers.

- Generate comprehensive and accurate status reports, encompassing project milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues, for various audiences including key stakeholders and sponsors.

- Mentor and guide teams with limited Agile experience, proposing process improvements and best practices as needed.

Process Improvement :

- Continuously analyze and enhance delivery processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

- Identify and address organizational dysfunctions related to the adoption and implementation of Lean and Agile principles.

Stakeholder Management :

- Cultivate strong relationships with senior management and business stakeholders, establishing yourself as a credible and trusted expert.

- Proactively manage client expectations, including effectively resolving client escalations with diplomacy and professionalism.

Team Leadership :

- Inspire and lead high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

- Guide team members in their professional development and growth.

Qualifications & Experience :

Essential :

- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within an Agile environment.

- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and release management processes.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing teams across various stages of their lifecycle.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

- Relevant Project Management certifications (i.e., PMP, PMI-ACP).

Desirable :

- Experience in the eCommerce domain.

- Knowledge of modern software development practices (i.e., DevOps, CI/CD).

- Experience with project management tools (i.e., Jira, Asana).

- Experience working with distributed teams
