Senior SFCC Developer - Demandware (6-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to work as a freelancer or contractor for our IT company.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) development and integrations, coupled with strong analytical and debugging skills.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop business solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware).

- Utilize SFRA Framework for creating scalable and user-friendly applications.

- Work with Demandware Script, Node.js, and Java OOP to build robust solutions.

- Integrate custom services into SFCC, including payment, tax, and OMS integrations.

- Create and manage Pipelines, JS controllers, ISML templates, and real-time data exchanges using web services.

- Implement RESTful web services and advanced JavaScript architectures for Ajax-driven applications.

- Configure Business Manager, jobs, and other administrative tools in SFCC.

- Debug and troubleshoot SFCC-specific issues while adhering to W3C guidelines and accessibility standards.

- Provide expertise in Demandware Catalog, SiteGenesis, UX Studio, and related foundational concepts.

- Prepare and manage technical reports while understanding Demandware limitations such as quotas.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- Strong experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) development.

- Proficiency in Demandware Script, Node. js, Java OOP, and SFRA Framework.

- Expertise in RESTful web services, Ajax, and advanced JavaScript architectures.

- Experience with API integrations, Service Framework, and Job Framework.

- Knowledge of OCAPI, SCAPI, and third-party integrations.

- Proficient in SQL with strong analytical and debugging skills.

- Hands-on experience with W3C accessibility guidelines, MVC frameworks, and agile development tools.

- Familiarity with Pipelines, ISML templates, and real-time data exchange.

- SFCC certifications are highly preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in integrating various third-party services and tools.

- Strong understanding of SFCC Business Manager and job configurations.

- Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to task completion
