Job Description

Designation: Account Manager - IT Product Sales

Location: Hyderabad

Experience Required: 4+ Years

Annual Salary: ₹7 Lacs to ₹17 Lacs


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:Sell all products and services to a set of assigned accounts. Spend 30% of your time managing existing accounts and 70% focusing on acquiring new accounts. Ensure effective implementation of Sonatas Account Management processes for all managed accounts.
  • Revenue Growth & Market Share Expansion:Drive growth in revenue for both current and non-current products/services, with a strong focus on BDM products/services. Focus on enhancing Sonata's brand as a leading Platformation partner within your accounts. Achieve growth objectives related to product and service expansion within assigned accounts. Responsible for the growth of market share, including managing direct deal Annual Revenue (A/R).
  • Sales & Business Development: Responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities through effective sales strategies and execution. Work closely with Principal Account Managers to manage and support the growth of strategic accounts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute sales strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Account Events & Lead Management: Organize and manage account-specific events and activities to drive engagement. Generate deals and leads in collaboration with Principal Account Managers, focusing on expanding business relationships.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must Have: Proven experience in IT sales, with a solid track record of success. In-depth knowledge of local accounts and the ability to navigate regional market dynamics. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good to Have: Experience in selling Cloud and SAAS solutions.Familiarity with the local market and exposure to relevant industry trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT sales or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of IT product solutions, enterprise sales, and account management processes.
  • Expertise in driving business growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing customer relationships.
