Job Description
- Ensure that the project meets the Time to Market target, while also fulfilling safety, quality, and cost parameters
- Support to prepare procurement related deliverables preparation towards gate review meetings
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System processes and Vestas Way to Market (Stage Gate model)
- Proactively engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and develop mitigation plans
- Serve as the "go-to" person for solving problems and driving actions related to the Procurement function
- Drive the development of best practices within the functional area
- Generate project performance reports and conduct peer review meetings
- Bachelors in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) with minimum 9 years of experience in Global procurement, new product development functions
- Project management certification and or 6 sigma knowledge is an added advantage
- Expertise in global procurement function process.
- Hands-on experience in new product development and its processes, including life cycle management
- High level of expertise in engineering change management processes
- Proficiency in SAP, Windchill, and Creo View tools
- Advanced skills in handling Excel workbooks, Macros, SAP GUI, and Power BI tools
- Strong technical skills, with a solid knowledge of manufacturing, negotiation, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving
- Must possess the drive and enthusiasm to work under tight deadlines across different time zones and cultures
