We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Business Development Managers to join our expanding BD Sales team in Bengaluru (North location).
This role involves driving new business growth for Version 1 India while representing a globally recognized brand in Ireland, the UK, and the US.
The ideal candidate will possess entrepreneurial drive and the ability to carve out new opportunities while benefiting from the support of a robust sales and marketing team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect agreed target accounts to generate new business opportunities.
- Target growth areas and develop strategies for market expansion.
- Manage and develop relationships with existing customers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Lead Generation team to execute targeted marketing campaigns, events, and direct calling initiatives.
- Work with technology partners and specialists to deliver value-added solutions to customers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and solution proposals.
- Actively manage the sales cycle, including contract negotiations for consulting services, fixed-price application development, and managed services.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Proven experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development within the IT industry, with exposure to managed services and consulting services.
- Strong background in selling business-led solutions and IT managed services, preferably in financial services, commercial, and utilities sectors.
- Clear understanding of the software development lifecycle, from envisioning to implementation and managed services.
- Demonstrable sales track record, achieving or exceeding targets for at least 3 out of the last 4 years.
IT consulting experience is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of working with US sales teams in an onshore/offshore delivery model.
- Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector, including bids for fixed-price and T&M projects
