Key Responsibilities:
Bid Management:
- Lead and support bid responses for small and large sales opportunities, working directly with the Commercial team or strategic technology partners.
- Manage the preparation of bid documents, tender responses, case studies, and presentations for consulting projects or managed services bids.
- Liaise with project managers, account managers, and delivery consultants to ensure high-quality bids are submitted.
Client Engagement & Execution:
- Support contract execution once bids are awarded-client engagement, commercials, contracting, delivery practice engagement, and project mobilization.
- Prepare presentations for prospects and clients, ensuring Version 1 propositions are effectively communicated.
Collaboration:
- Work with Partner Account Managers and Sales Support teams to ensure the successful delivery of presentations and tender responses.
- Act as a single point of contact for the bid team, driving the bid process and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Develop and manage bid strategies to enhance the chance of winning.
Bid Process Lifecycle:
- Support all stages of the bid lifecycle, from planning and production to post-bid reviews and handover.
- Coordinate bid planning, resource requirements, commercial review approvals, and risk management.
- Monitor bid and production costs and contribute to the risk management process.
Market Research & Lead Generation:
- Work with the team to generate new leads and build a pipeline of opportunities through proactive market research.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in IT consulting, ideally in the IT services or technology solutions environment (rather than product-based).
Bid & Proposal Writing:
- Strong written skills for preparing high-quality bid documentation, tender responses, and internal documentation.
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Graphic Design skills are beneficial).
Project Management & Coordination:
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining consistent quality.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Experience & Domain Knowledge:
- Experience in marketing, communications, or business development.
- Familiarity with the Private Sector or BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sectors is a plus.
- Experience working with onshore/offshore delivery models is desirable.
Influencing & Communication:
- Strong influencing skills-ability to engage and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver on time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Numerical Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills for managing bid costs, pricing models, and financial analysis.
Desired Qualifications:
Bid Management Expertise:
- Experience managing bids in the US market, including client meetings, presentations, orals, and contract negotiations.
BFSI Sector Experience:
- Experience in bidding for Banking & Financial Services sector projects, both Fixed Price and T&M (Time & Materials)
