Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales leads & qualify leads through outreach efforts, networking and sending highly personalized communications via email and social messages.
- Cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders in potential client organizations.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Present consultancy offerings tailored to client needs and pain points.
- Lead the negotiation and closing of contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the client.
- Collaborate with internal teams for smooth execution of projects.
- Conduct research to identify market trends, client demands, and competitor activities.
- Use this information to position the company's services effectively.
- Work closely with the marketing, operations, and delivery teams to align on service offerings, proposals, and client expectations.
- Ensure smooth handover of new clients to the delivery team.
- Must have experience in B2B SAAS Products/IT products sales.
- Provide regular updates on lead status, sales performance, and revenue forecasts.
- Track KPIs and report progress to senior management.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 to 12 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management within a B2B environment, preferably in consulting or services.
- Strong knowledge of the B2B sales process, including lead generation, client meetings, presentations, proposals, and closing deals.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and industry stakeholders.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
- Ability to understand the client's business and design solutions that meet their objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of presenting complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- A Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and digital platforms for lead generation and client engagement.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing large-scale corporate clients and delivering on long-term strategic objectives.
- Background in management consultancy or related services is a plus.
- Knowledge of local and international markets and business trends.
