Business Development Manager - Industrial IoT Hardware Sales to Manufacturing Industry

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness and have the ability to communicate with both Technical managers (Plant Heads, Mechanical & Electrical HoDs) as well as Executives (CXOs), and accept personal ownership of mutually agreed Sales targets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- New Business Development: Primary responsibility for regional Sales targets

- Competition Mapping: get and stay up to speed on the offerings of Client as well as the value proposition and competitive differentiation.

Sales Process Adherence: Adopting best practices, including:

- HubSpot usage, lead and opportunity maintenance, reporting

- Interface and collaborate with Global colleagues on multinational opportunities

Maintain a consistent standard of excellence in all interactions with Prospects, including:

- Product demonstrations;

- Proposal preparation and quotes;

- Timely responses and follow up

Required Qualifications :

- Engineering Degree/Masters in Marketing/Sales

- Preferably from Mechanical/Industrial Automation background

- Overall, 7-10 years' of experience in new Business Development

- Has worked with end users and closed a minimum annual Sales target of INR 10 cr.

- Enterprise in Software and Hardware Sales/SaaS Sales/IoT Sales/B2B/Automation Industry Sales experience

- Aptitude for learning new technologies, previous experience with asset management, maintenance, reliability and Enterprise Cloud-based solutions are an asset;

- Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.

- Enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

- A deep belief in team success, collaboration, and a willingness to adapt to continuous change.

- An ability to work independently, handle numerous assignments concurrently and consistently be a self-starter
