General Manager- HR For Pharmaceutical Company Pune

Role & responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Leadership

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Work closely with senior management to shape company culture and workforce planning.
• Drive HR policies that support a high-performance work environment.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

• Oversee recruitment for sales teams, factory workers, and head office employees.
• Develop strategies to attract top talent, including medical representatives and factory personnel.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and retention of employees across all departments.

3. Sales Team HR Management

• Design incentive programs and performance metrics for the sales force.
• Monitor PRX reporting and average monthly call targets for sales employees.
• Handle leave management, field visits, and area-wise workforce planning.

4. Factory HR & Industrial Relations

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and industrial relations best practices.
• Address employee grievances in coordination with factory management.
• Monitor payroll, apprentices, and contract labor management.
• Counsel factory employees to follow proper communication channels for grievances.

5. Head Office HR Operations

• Oversee HR functions related to corporate employees, including policy implementation and compliance.
• Work with department heads to ensure smooth workflow and employee engagement.
• Support leadership development and succession planning.

6. Performance Management & Employee Engagement

• Implement performance appraisal systems for all departments.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, training, and leadership development programs.
• Manage Employee of the Month selection criteria based on PRX reporting and average calls.

7. HR Compliance & Policy Implementation

• Ensure adherence to labor laws, industry regulations, and company HR policies.
• Handle legal issues related to employee contracts, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee leave encashment policies and other benefits.

8. HR Analytics & Reporting

• Generate HR reports on workforce productivity, turnover, and compliance.
• Use HR data to make informed decisions and optimize manpower costs.
