Position description:

The Manager - Human Resources will handle day-to-day HR operations, support the implementation of HR strategies, and work closely with the General Manager to ensure that HR activities align with organizational goals during the project execution phase and future operational expansion. Also this individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance, and driving initiatives related to employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
• Co-ordinate with HO TA team to initiate the recruitment processes for operational roles, working with external agencies and internal teams to attract qualified candidates.
• Ensure that HR processes are efficient and meet the needs of both project and operational employees. Implement and refine to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future needs.
• Address employee queries and concerns, mediate disputes, and ensure a positive work environment.
• Implement and monitor employee engagement initiatives to maintain high morale and productivity.
• Coordinate and manage training programs for both project and operational employees, ensuring that they are well-equipped with the roles. Assess training needs and track the effectiveness of training initiatives.
• Support career development and performance management processes.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws regulations, and company policies. Management of Contract labour and related compliances.
• Ensure implementation of LLSR rules within the company.
• Diversity and Inclusion: Knowledge of best practices for promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
• Develop and execute programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Address employee concerns and manage conflict resolution to foster a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with the General Manager - HR to align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Provide regular reports on HR metrics and performance to the General Manager.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in HR practices.
• Develop recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements and boost morale.
• Management of all audits, such as ISO, EHS, HR Systems etc.
• Responsible for overall factory administration
• Management of contracts such as labour, transport and leased accommodations etc.
• Driving CSR initiatives along with organizational CSR strategy

Required Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Labour Laws & Compliance
• Knowledge of HR Policies and procedures
• Knowledge of working in SAP will be added advantage
• Knowledge of working in MS Office, Excel Word and Power-point. Good in presentation skills.
• Knowledge of HRIS software and tools managing employee records

Education & Experience:

Essential: Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Specialization in HR

Preferred: MPM/MSW/MLW, Diploma in Labour Laws

Essential: 6-8 years in a Manufacturing Company.

Preferred: HR Generalist
