Assistant Plant Head

Major Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among entire plant and Operations.
• Overseeing the overall operations of the heavy fabrication plant, including production, quality control, engineering, maintenance, and safety.
• Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve production targets, cost objectives, and quality standards.
• Leading a multidisciplinary team of production managers, engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of goals.
• Establishing and maintaining a safe working environment, promoting a culture of safety, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track plant performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive operational excellence.
• Collaborating with senior management to align plant operations with overall business objectives and strategic initiatives.
• Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the plant, including cost control measures and profitability analysis.
• Implementing lean manufacturing principles, process improvements, and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Engaging with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to build relationships, address concerns, and support business growth.
• Staying informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the plant remains competitive and compliant.

Required Qualifications

Education: B.E. Electrical / Mechanical

Experience: 15 to 20 years

Industry Preference: Experience of manufacturing unit/heavy fabrication/automobile Industry is preferred.
