Shift Manager

Experience: 10 to 15 years (someone who has worked in the Shift In charge role for last 5 yrs. and managed team)

• Leading and managing a specific shift in the manufacturing facility to ensure smooth operations, production efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
• Supervising a team of production operators, technicians, and support staff to achieve daily production targets and goals.
• Planning and organizing shift schedules, including manpower allocation, machine utilization, and production priorities, to meet production requirements.
• Monitoring production processes, equipment performance, and product quality to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conducting regular inspections of the manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Training and developing shift personnel on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Collaborating with maintenance teams to address equipment breakdowns, maintenance issues, and ensure optimal equipment uptime.
• Analysing shift performance metrics, such as production output, downtime, scrap rates, and quality metrics, to drive continuous improvement.
• Implementing lean manufacturing principles and best practices to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
• Communicating effectively with other shift leaders, supervisors, and management to ensure seamless coordination, handover, and alignment of production goals.

Required Qualifications

Education: B.E. Mechanical/Electrical

Experience: 10 to 15 years (someone who has worked in the Shift In charge role for last 5 yrs. and managed team)

Industry Preference: Experience of manufacturing / heavy fabrication/ automobile Industry is preferred.
