AGM/GM Head of Production | HLE Glascoat | Surat/Navari

Role & responsibilities

As a Production Head you will be instrumental in professionalizing our manufacturing operations and enhancing production processes to create a best-in-class organization. This role requires an empathetic change manager with a passion for inspiring teams and a commitment to operational excellence.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Production Planning & Control: Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet project deadlines, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing downtime.
2. Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all pressure vessels meet industry standards and regulatory compliance (ASME, PED, etc.)
3. Cost Management: Manage production budgets, reduce costs, and improve efficiency without compromising quality and safety standards.
4. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and workers to achieve daily production targets while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Process Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing techniques and process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
6. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure all production activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
7. Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
8. Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
9. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for senior management on production metrics, challenges, and improvements.
10. Project Coordination: Liaise with the project management and design teams to ensure that customer specifications are met and any issues are resolved promptly.

These responsibilities will help ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality production operations in the manufacturing of pressure vessels.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 20-25 years of relevant work experience, with stability in the last two assignments.
• Experience managing manufacturing operations as a Production Head for 8-10 years.
• Proven track record in organizations of repute, managing sites with 500+ employees.
• Strong focus on world-class manufacturing systems and processes.
• Must be willing to relocate with family to Navsari/Surat

Work Location: Maroli

Candidate can commute daily from either Surat or Navsari
