Job Title: BigCommerce Developer

About the Role:

V-Soft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BigCommerce Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality e-commerce websites on the BigCommerce platform.

You will play a key role in creating engaging online shopping experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain e-commerce websites using the BigCommerce platform.

- Customize BigCommerce themes and plugins to meet specific business requirements.

- Integrate BigCommerce with other applications and systems, such as payment gateways (e., PayPal, Stripe), ERP systems, CRM systems, and third-party services.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of e-commerce websites.

- Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages to create engaging user interfaces.

- Implement responsive design principles to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, project managers, business analysts) to define, design, and ship new features.

- Gather and analyze user requirements to translate them into effective e-commerce solutions.

- Troubleshooting & Maintenance :Troubleshoot and debug issues related to website functionality and performance.

- Maintain and update existing e-commerce websites to ensure they meet current business needs and industry standards.

Qualifications :

- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in e-commerce development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with the BigCommerce platform.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in BigCommerce platform development, including the Stencil framework, Storefront APIs, and BigCommerce Admin API.

- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including libraries like jQuery), and modern JavaScript frameworks (e., React, Vue.js).

- Experience with integrating BigCommerce with external APIs and services.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
