Deputy Project Manager - Civil

Role & responsibilities

• Defines the civil list of activities, list of deliverables and their dates of issue under contract requirements and schedules.
• Issues the civil design philosophies and update applicable general specifications.
• Prepares and performs civil design reviews.
• Attends inter-discipline design reviews and coordination meetings.
• Manages and is the technical reference for civil works engineers, designers and draftsmen.
• Controls and signs all civil deliverables.
• Controls and manages subcontracted activities.
• Should handle various types of Civil project executions.
• Ensures the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfillment of the project quality requirements, contractual obligations and Company HSE commitments.
• Takes any corrective action within civil groups necessary for this purpose.
• Reports to project PEM and to the civil head of the department whenever required.
• Controls and reports civil design activities progress.
• Calculates and monitors performance indicators.
• Coordinates with other discipline specialists and obtains input necessary to perform the civil designs.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record of successful leadership and management.
• Knowledge and experience in multiple projects management to developing and executing Contracts.
• Financial management and budgeting skills.
• Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Proactive and result-oriented mindset.
• Issues the REX (feedback dossier) at the end of the project engineering phases.

Preferred candidate profile

He will lead and manage all aspects of the Civil Projects in our organization. He will oversee the operations, strategy, and progression of the organization. The ideal candidate should have more than 15+ years of experience in the industry.
