AC Technician / Junior Technician

Role & responsibilities

Candidate should qualify for ITI in HVAC Trade or 10+2 in HVAC Fresher or Experience

1. Attending maintenance of all Central plants and Domestic AC equipment as per the PM schedules and checklists. 2. Attending emergency breakdown maintenance works, like refrigerant leaks, lubrication system failures, compressor loading and unloading failures etc. 3. Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Exhaust blowers, Fresh Air Ventilation systems and water pumps periodical maintenance works. 4. Attending electrical maintenance works of AC mains, MCS control and VFD panels etc. 5. Troubleshooting and fault rectification of all types of AC equipment. 6. Check the functioning of all safety controls and capacitor values. 7. Shifting, installation, testing and commissioning works of Domestic AC equipment. 8. Water/Chemical servicing of condenser coils and cooling coils. Check V-Belt tension and drive alignment works. 9. Re Insulation/Re painting works of refrigerant and chilled water pipelines.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Plant 'ON' & OFF' as per the requirements. Parameters: observation and recording. Run the chiller plants according to chilled water temperatures, seasonal variations, and occupational loads. Switch ON the chiller plant and wait until it reaches the chilled water outlet temperature before switching ON the AHUs. (As per the requirement. 2. Attending regular maintenance works on chilled water pumps, central AC plants, air handling units, etc., keeps the plant and surroundings clean. 3. Check and note down refrigerant SP, DP, oil pressures, and electrical loads in. the logbook and record 4. Any deviation or abnormality from normal running conditions should be intimated to the assistant engineer or section in charge.
