Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Category Marketing Head to lead the marketing strategy for our Consumer Health division, specifically in the Energy Drinks category. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in FMCG marketing and category marketing, with a strong focus on over-the-counter (OTC) marketing, strategic brand transitions, and business expansion across multiple channels.


Key Responsibilities:


- Develop and implement comprehensive category marketing strategies to drive growth and market penetration within the consumer health sector.


- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across offline and online channels, ensuring brand consistency and maximizing consumer engagement.


- Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 brand managers, providing strategic guidance, performance oversight, and professional development.


- Oversee the strategic transition of brands from prescription (Rx) to over-the-counter (OTC) marketing, working closely with prescription (Rx) teams to ensure smooth execution and regulatory alignment.


- Manage and optimize brand performance in both traditional retail and e-commerce channels, leveraging insights to enhance brand positioning and consumer reach.


- Foster strong relationships with creative and media agencies, ensuring the successful execution of impactful marketing initiatives.


- Drive innovation within the consumer health category by identifying growth opportunities, emerging consumer trends, and competitive dynamics.


- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, regulatory, and finance teams to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives.


- Implement data-driven decision-making processes, utilizing analytics and market research to optimize marketing investments and maximize ROI.


Experience & Qualifications:


- Minimum 12+ years of experience in FMCG marketing, with at least 7-8 years in over-the-counter (OTC) marketing across 3-4 different categories within the consumer health industry.


- Proven track record in executing category marketing strategies, launching new products, and managing brand transitions effectively.


- Experience leading high-impact campaigns, including digital, social media, influencer marketing, and traditional media.


- Strong background in prescription (Rx) to over-the-counter (OTC) brand conversions, ensuring seamless adaptation to direct consumer marketing.


- Expertise in managing multi-channel marketing strategies, including offline retail, e-commerce, and omnichannel platforms.


- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing teams and mentoring marketing professionals.


- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence key business decisions.

- Strong network and relationships with leading creative and media agencies, ensuring impactful brand storytelling.


- Experience in market analytics, consumer insights, and data-driven decision-making.


- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.


- Passion for consumer health and a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and competitive landscape.
