Business Head/Category Head - Internet/eCommerce - IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI/XLRI (17-21 yrs)

Role Overview:

As the Category Head, you will be responsible for owning the P&L and driving the strategic growth of a critical category by managing both supply and demand. This leadership role requires scaling operations, building vendor relationships, and delivering exceptional business results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead P&L management for the category, ensuring growth and profitability.

2. Develop and execute strategies for scaling supply-side operations and optimizing demand.

3. Build strong vendor networks and partnerships to enhance operational efficiency.

4. Collaborate with marketing, product, and tech teams to improve user experience and business outcomes.

5. Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to drive innovation.

6. Mentor and lead a team, fostering high performance and growth.

Ideal Candidate:

1. MBA from a Tier 1 institute with 17-21 years of experience in category management (both supply & demand), e-commerce, or business leadership is a MUST.

2. Proven track record in P&L ownership, scaling businesses, and vendor management.

3. Strong analytical, strategic, and operational skills.

4. Experience in e-commerce, internet startups or high-growth environments is highly preferred.
